Phantom Threads

Part of the University MA Curation degree shows, 2026.

Find us at Positive Light Projects 4th-14th June

184-187 Sidwell St, Exeter EX4 6RD

This project is an investigation into the interaction between the grandeur of the art world and the needle-wielding, yarn-untangling, cross-stitching crafty people that society take for granted.

About Us

Phantom Threads is a project curated by MA Curation students Kaia Brushaber, Moyan Zhang, and Liv Pattimore from the University of Exeter, hosted at Positive Light Projects. Each student has a personal connection to craft and its relationship with gender and maternal knowledge. Many of the exhibiting individuals are of personal relation to the curatorial team.
